The King of the Carpathians extends his reign over the World’s Toughest Hard Enduro Rallye, Red Bull Romaniacs, with a sensational 7th win at the age of 47. After a stunning ride on Day 3, Graham Jarvis put a comfortable lead to his closest rival Teodor Kabakchiev, +15m44s. All he had to do on the final day was to avoid any mistake and nurture his Husky to the finish line. The GOAT did well and finished the day with P5, only 7m behind Teodor, which was the mark of the Victory. Teodor Kabakchiev proved himself to be a serious contender and made it to the P2 podium spot before some of the finest factory riders. The Bulgarian privateer scored his best ever Romaniacs venture by finishing it 8m32s behind the victor. Mario Roman was in a fight for a better podium spot and finished the day ahead of Teodor but it was just not enough the gain an extra position. The Spaniard completed the podium with +13m26s to Graham. This became his 2nd consecutive P3 at the Carpathians. At the Silver Class, Chris Birch clinched a tight victory with only 1m26s ahead of Fabien Poirot and enjoyed the podium spot with a cheer of champagne. Matthias Walkner’s Romaniacs journey also ended with a podium spot at the Bronze Class. He a P3 with his chunky KTM 450 Rally. Hard Enduro World Championship moved to North America for Rd6 TKO in US and for Rd7 Outliers in Canada. We were not able to follow up these two but will be in Spain for the last round, Hixpania Hard Enduro. The last day of Sea to Sky 2021 had its traditional zero altitude mass start at the beach and offered a gnarly route to the ultimate finish line over the clouds on the Mount Olimpos (Lycian). The first row took off at 09:00 AM and Mario Roman led the pack at the first half of the race. His team mate Wade Young got the lead before CP5 and stretched the gap more than four minutes once. Towards the end Mario got his rhythm back and reduced the gap down to one minute at the last check point. From that on to the finish he had Wade in his side from a striking distance and waited for the right moment. At a technical hill climb on the last stretch he gambled ona different line and worked his way to the lead. Mario then got to the chequered flag first by finishing the Mountain Race in 3h26m31s. Because wasn’t able to recover overall damage against his teammate Wade he ended up being P2 on the podium. Apart from the leading Sherco duo, Teodor Kabakchiev had a brilliant day as a privateer and came in P3 with just one minute far from Mario but again it didn’t matter cuz again it was not enough recovered for a podium spot. Travis Teasdale on the other had continued his epic S2S journey with an almost stock 250 and after winning Beach Race he rode enough to get him a place at the last step of the podium along side the Sherco’s duo. ✦ We can't thank enough to our host, Kemer Barut Collection family, for having our crew along with the fellow riders. Sea to Sky Day 3 action Sky Race was fairly run through at lover altitude comparing its debut last year. Due to this track selection we weren’t able to shot the epic frames that we filmed last year with extraterrestrial scenery. Once again Sherco’s South African Wade Young completed the track fastest for the day. He finished it in 1h36m06s. His team mate Mario Roman was only 1m45s behind and he kept the overall P2 with a hope to recover the damage on Mountain Race. Travis Teasdale spent yet another great racing day with his 250 and was ready to push it all for the last day. 12th Edition of the Mediterranean hard enduro challenge Sea to Sky 2021 continued with Forest Race where the actual competition started heating up as riders get their time collected for the trophy. After a surprise podium we had on Day 1’s Beach Race, Travis opened the way into the Taurus mountains for Forest Race. Being out of the Beach Race podium, Sherco Factory duo Mario Roman and Wade Young were expected to get their rhythm going and they did so. It was Wade who completed the course fastest by reaching to the chequered flag in 1h43m09s. Mario came in P2 (+56s) an Travis P3 (1m51s). Sea to Sky 2021 started with the Beach Race challenge where the fastest 150 from the prologue hit the track 50 pax at a time. After 20 minutes and an extra lap we got a complete surprise podium which was great to see. Travis Teasdale made history by winning the challenge with an almost stock 250. Teodor Kabakchiev came in P2 and Matthew Green P3. We would like to share time differences and lap times but unfortunately it is still not available to anyone. British Extreme Enduro Championship, Round 2 Cowm Leisure was held in Rochdale on 16th of February. The main event of the day was the glamorous PM race with all the great talents including general standings leader Billy Bolt and KTM’s Jonny Walker. The race was threatened by a huge and destructive storm called “Dennis”. Luckily it was cleared mostly in the race morning and 175 riders and organizer took a sigh of relief. The heavy rain, received in the night, in combination with British soil made it pretty hard for all contenders and therefor we witnessed a true struggle. Just like in the Round 1 Tong Rockstar Husqvarna’s Billy Bolt claimed a clear victory over the rest and kept himself on top of general standings as we head to the Round 3, H20. Jonny Walker got his 2nd consecutive P2 and William Hoare P3. Taddy Blazusiak, unlike Round 1, missed the line-up as it wasn’t a priority championship to follow for him.
