This is a new version of the original Orca created by Lib Tech and Travis Rice. My impression of this board are that it will be more freestyle focused with a more twin shape with less taper and more tail. I'm going to test out the Golden Orca in some powder conditions on Whistler peak and also find a few small drops to send it off of. Check us out: https://kit.co/georgeanddan/our-vlogging-kit In response to the criticism that our previous Killer Whale Show Gone Wrong video shows nothing going wrong here is the video broken down for you to see exactly what went wrong. One Ocean killer whale show from 29th March 2018 which went slightly wrong during the 'Side by Side' section of the show when the whales starting fighting instead of performing as planned. Playbacks and closeups included as well as subtitles throughout the trainers explanation of the Orca aggression. As explained by the staff, the fight was a rise against the dominant whale, however, she fought back and fundamentally laid a bite on the tail on the other whale before the staff managed to intervene. This small show of aggression from the whales just goes to show how powerful these amazing animals are! 2018 was the last time we will attend an Orca/killer whale show. It was extremely uncomfortable to watch. It is good news that Seaworld will no longer breed the orcas. We hope there will be a stop to the performances soon with the Orcas moved to a more appropriate sanctuary as done with Beluga whales. Featuring a rocker dominant profile with camber zones under foot, directional shape, taper, setback, magne traction, and naturally wide waist width, the Orca provides a ride that is hard to match in the powder and steeps. This snowboard is going to offer tons of float in powder, while still coming through with the stability you need in those more technical and high impact situations. With its width the Orca is also going to be a lot of fun for carving, and is an all around freeride killer. I really enjoyed this one, and would recommend it for more advanced riders that are into this style of snowboarding.
