This is a new version of the original Orca created by Lib Tech and Travis Rice. My impression of this board are that it will be more freestyle focused with a more twin shape with less taper and more tail. I'm going to test out the Golden Orca in some powder conditions on Whistler peak and also find a few small drops to send it off of. Overnight we got a significant snow fall which has filled in a lot of the tree runs making them accessible for snowboarding. After a long process of getting up the mountain we explored some of the trees and pillows toward the peak to peak gondola. Here we found some of the best powder lines through the trees and even a few pillows to drop off of. Today I was riding my Lib Tech Orca snowboard which helped me float over some of the deeper snow.
