The championship heat moved to Teramo, Italy, at the Italian Extreme 2022’s for Round 3, Headless Rider Extreme Enduro by Moto Club Falchilaga, and it was a crazy fun weekend for hard enduro fans. Racing weekend started with Day 1’s prologue where all riders took single starts into the forests of Torricella Sicura with a tricky super enduro section at the start. Although the track was bone dry it still offered the extreme fun factor with tricky sections here and there. The championship consists of three classes, Bronze - Silver - Gold, and the Gold Class witnessed a real fight with a lot of talents’ presence including Michael Walkner, Sonny Goggia, Kyle Flanagan, Alessandro Azzalini and Matt Green. Italian Extreme Enduro 2022 season kicked off with Rd 1, Wildwoods Extreme Enduro, at the Pro Park Genova on 23-24 April. The main race was on Sunday and all classes hit their dedicated track seperately. Heavy rain that the region received before and during the racing weekend forced organizers to cancel a number of sectors but still it was one hell of a challenge for everyone. Gold Class took start at 15:00 local and it witnessed a great battle between favorites both local and international. Dominik Olszowy was the early leader of the race but the rough track made it really easy to make simple mistakes. Local hero Sonny Goggia took over the lead and kept it quite a while. Towards the end it was Michael Walkner’s turn and he hung on his pace enough to clinch the Victory. Sonny Goggia came in P2 and Dominik Olszowy P3. The Tough One 2021 witnessed a unique racing moment with FIM World Hard Enduro Champion Billy Bolt and David Knight MBE lined up for the trophy at the Nantmawr Quarry - United Kingdom. Charlie Frost was kind enough to wear our GoPro to get you this excellent racing content to enjoy. Unlike his normal 300 2T bike setup he had to borrow his brother’s 350 4T and that had an effect for sure. Charlie came in P6 in the end and this is his second lap into the race. Charlie’s Post race comment; “Unfortunately, I am without a Gas Gas at the moment due to unavailability of them so borrowed my brothers 350 4T for the Tough One- obviously not the desired choice of weapon for the event but better than nothing. It wasn’t the easiest of bikes to try and man handle around the course- with it being a 4 stroke it wanted to stall on the technical sections which made life hard for me, but I struggled on for a 6th place Pro class finish. Wasn’t my finest riding and felt capable of a higher position finishing but the bike held me back. Never the less it was a fun atmosphere and a great race thanks to Steve Ireland and the WOR Events team.” After 2h battle in and around the quarry Billy Bolt claimed the victory although he had to enter the race with a sore arm left from recent injury he had. The action at the British Extreme Enduro Championship moved to Cowm Quarry for Round 2 on the 15th of May. Unlike Round 1 we had last season’s champion Billy Bolt back on the starting line. Cowm Quarry’s known rocky surface and technical hill climbs became even trickier with heavy rain during PM race.   Rockstar Husqvarna’s reigning champion (BEEC 2020) Billy Bolt made his season debut with a clear victory over the round. After a tough 2h30m run he was the only rider to complete 12 laps.   Team Steer (Sherco) rider Joe Deakin came in P2 and Jarvis Racing rider Jonathan Richardson P3.   Round 1 Extreme Ravines winner and the overall leader William Hoare finished the race with P4.   Post Race Comments Billy Bolt “Very nice racing today. It was good practise especially after last weekend riding in the mud and it is nice to be back in England. No real mistakes. Because I didn’t walk the track, I just kept it steady for the first couple of laps and then pushed on till the end.” Jonathan Richardson “The race in general was good Today. I had a bad start and felt down to P9 I guess. At the first couple of laps, I was like chilling and then I got get going, started to recover the positions. Towards the end I was getting lap times close to Billy. World’s most enjoyable Hard Enduro Race Sea to Sky was held for the 11th time this year and welcomed most of the top riders including Graham Jarvis, Billy Bolt, Mario Roman and wade Young. Since most of the championships and major races like Erzberg Rodeo, Extreme Lagares and Hixpania cancelled, Sea to Sky 2020 Hard Enduro was the first big event of the year 2020 after the pandemic outbreak. Race week started on 23rd of September and after 3 days racing it was the time for the big run, the Mountain Race. World’s finest hard enduro riders managed to reserve their position at the mass start and the race started at 10:00 AM. We have edited the GoPro footages of Graham Jarvis(P1), Jonathan Richardson(P8) and Bayram Uysal(P8) and prepared a Mountain race show for you to watch. On his way to be the best Spanish Hard Enduro rider, the struggle was real for Mario Roman. He had to leave Husqvarna to make space for his fellow countryman Alfredo Gomez. Sea to Sky 2019 Hard Enduro Mountain Race started at 09:00AM from Camyuva beach. The track was a combination of Beach-Canyon-Forest and Rocky mountain sectors for 53 kilometers. After a hard ride towards the Mount Olympus the order to reach CP9 was Mario Roman, Wade Young and Graham Jarvis. After CP9 Mario got lost the track which caused him loosing his position to Wade but then he recovered that time and caught him. Sherco teammates fought hard through the finish line and at a technical climb Wade got stuck and Mario recovered his position back and kept it till the finish lane. After getting two consecutive P2’s at the Sea to Sky (2017&2018) Mario finally made it and won the race with only 5 seconds clear from his teammate. Unlike the trios podium fight in 2017 Graham wasn’t close to the Shercos. Sea to Sky 2019 Canyon Race started in the halfway of the Canyon and went all the way up for a 35km single Hard Enduro track. The fastest rider covered it in 01:30:14,24. Mario Roman was the man of the day and finished it on top with nearly 2,5 minutes clear from Graham Jarvis who finished P2 for the day.
