I've got 2 big firsts in this video: my first ever race in an all-electric racecar (the Extreme E Odyssey 21), and my first ever stage of the Dakar rally. Both were a great time!! Check out this RAW all-GoPro onboard footage of the final stage of Dakar 2020. Going by GoPro timing, this would put me around third overall for times on that stage. And while there are some caveats to that time, I was still super impressed with the speed (and especially the torque) of the Odyssey 21! This is my first drive in an all-electric racecar... ever. And it's in the Dakar Rally, of all places!! How rad is that? I had the opportunity to race the final stage of Dakar in the all new Extreme E ODYSSEY 21 racecar, and it was an absolute blast. And yes, I may have ripped a donut or two in it, too. The wildest feeling was how instantly the electric torque came on (all 750lb/ft) and how fun it was to drive because of that.
