After 2 days of intense racing it was Day 3 for Sea to Sky Hard Enduro Race. A 32 km track laid upon 2000 meters of altitude for the first time in Sea to Sky Hard Enduro history and it is called Sky Race. The track was mainly designed to be a softer trail for everyone to enjoy the beautiful scenery but because it was softer it took only 54 minutes for Billy Bolt to finish it with P1. World’s most enjoyable Hard Enduro Race Sea to Sky was held for the 11th time this year and welcomed most of the top riders including Graham Jarvis, Billy Bolt, Mario Roman and wade Young. Since most of the championships and major races like Erzberg Rodeo, Extreme Lagares and Hixpania cancelled, Sea to Sky 2020 Hard Enduro was the first big event of the year 2020 after the pandemic outbreak. Race week started on 23rd of September and after 3 days racing it was the time for the big run, the Mountain Race. World’s finest hard enduro riders managed to reserve their position at the mass start and the race started at 10:00 AM. We have edited the GoPro footages of Graham Jarvis(P1), Jonathan Richardson(P8) and Bayram Uysal(P8) and prepared a Mountain race show for you to watch. Ps: Unfortunately riders's GoPro cameras ran out of battery fot the last bit but another talented rider, Jamie Williams, managed to film that part and we will be sharing it soon, stay tuned. World’s most enjoyable Hard Enduro race Sea to Sky had a new race into its format called “Sky Race”. Maiden Sky Race was a 31.5 km single track laid above 2000 meters of altitude. This was planned to be a soft and fast race for competitors and it was indeed very fast. Billy Bolt was the one who covered it the fastest and he did it in 54:23:15. Sea to Sky 2019 Hard Enduro Mountain Race started at 09:00AM from Camyuva beach. The track was a combination of Beach-Canyon-Forest and Rocky mountain sectors for 53 kilometers. After a hard ride towards the Mount Olympus the order to reach CP9 was Mario Roman, Wade Young and Graham Jarvis. After CP9 Mario got lost the track which caused him loosing his position to Wade but then he recovered that time and caught him. Sherco teammates fought hard through the finish line and at a technical climb Wade got stuck and Mario recovered his position back and kept it till the finish lane. After getting two consecutive P2’s at the Sea to Sky (2017&2018) Mario finally made it and won the race with only 5 seconds clear from his teammate. Unlike the trios podium fight in 2017 Graham wasn’t close to the Shercos. Sea to Sky 2019 Canyon Race started in the halfway of the Canyon and went all the way up for a 35km single Hard Enduro track. The fastest rider covered it in 01:30:14,24. Mario Roman was the man of the day and finished it on top with nearly 2,5 minutes clear from Graham Jarvis who finished P2 for the day. Beach Race track was a bit harder comparing last year but the fun factor was there to enjoy.
