The main spec you should be looking at if you have a boot size 11, 12, 13 or bigger, is called waist width. The bigger the waist width, the less chance you will have of getting heel or toe drag. These 5 boards are naturally wide and will accommodate larger boot sizes. You should also check to see if your favorite snowboard is available in a "Wide" size, indicated by a W next to the size, as that can also help to solve this issue. The Instagator is part of Never Summers Shaper Series and has a fun and unique construction. You're going to find a new camber profile in this board that combines their Ripsaw profile in the rear with the regular rocker camber in the front. This means that you'll have twice as much camber under your rear foot for more stability at high speeds, down technical lines, and offering more pop. You're also going to find a blunted tail outside the contact points combined with a 12mm taper; These features will work together to provide more float in soft snow. Overall the Instagator is a snowboard that is going to perform in any condition, and could be thought of as a similar but rocker dominant version of the Ride Warpig in my opinion.
