It's every Hoonigan's favorite part of a new project car: tearing into a perfectly good, working vehicle and cutting it to pieces with the boys! The clutch on our HPD IndyCar engine is only meant for a chassis that weighs around 1600lb, so our 4500lb Ridgeline needs to go on a serious diet if this project is going to go anywhere. Suppy and Team 69 rip out the engine, interior, and, well, pretty much everything else. Back to work on the Honda IndyTruck by Hoonigan! Suppy and the rest of Team 69 had a lot to do after gutting the Ridgeline last time. First, we had our buddy David come out to 3D scan the Ridgeline as well as a 2020 NSX that Ron borrowed. With that data, Alex was able to design and build a custom subframe while Angelo & Trevor got the roll cage mocked up and Jameson focused on engine mounts.
