In this video I'm snowboarding on Whistler mountain and have some tips for snowboarding with more speed. The first tip is look at the terrain ahead and plan where you'll speed up or slow down. The second tips to use your knees to control the speed that builds on your snowboard. The third tip is to always us your snowboards edges to spray snow out the side of each turn. If you have any questions about snowboarding with more speed, leave them in the comments. For more videos to improve your snowboarding check out the intermediate snowboarding playlist. Improve your snowboarding by challenging the way you steer your snowboard. Riding up side banks are a great way to challenge your steering and improve your snowboarding in general. As you ride up a side bank you use your knees, hips and shoulders to steer your snowboard. If you can steer on side banks in control then you'll notice your steering is much more aggressive in your regular snowboarding.

Snowboard through bumps is a great way to improve you snowboarding. You use you knees to absorb the pressure that snowboarding through bumps creates. Bend your knees independently to absorb the bump, then extend between bumps to keep your snowboard in contact with the snow. Find a bumpy run that you can traverse across and practice using your knees to absorb the pressure. Practicing will improve the way you use your knees through uneven terrain. Have fun improving your snowboarding and I'll see you in the next video!
