TX2K’s fourth and final day has come to an end, with the rise and fall of new champions across all classes! Crazy, Wild, and EPIC are the only words that fairly describe what took place here today at Houston Raceway Park! TX2K21 continues to deliver as we enter the events third day! Day 3 marks the longest yet, as the caliber of cars in attendance are making so much power that racers are finding more and more limitations! The tireless staff of TX2K burned the midnight oil to push through all rounds possible for a smooth day of eliminations on Sunday! The second day of TX2K doubled down on excitement as some of the CRAZIEST passes in TX2K history were made! Roll racing eliminations this year were some of the scariest passes we’ve ever seen, and drag racing classes faced some serious traction problems with the colder than usual weather here in Baytown, TX. Racing here at Houston Raceway Park has never been more exciting, especially for Kyle finally being able to go rounds with his AMS built Audi R8! No Prep racing brings about some of the wildest and unique moments we get to see out at the track all year long. Winter Meltdown held true to our expectations as racers battled every variation of difficulty down the lanes of Houston Raceway Park! From Jason Cantu’s half track wheelie to Flaco trying to tame his pickup, “TOXIC” and make a straight pass down the lane, there was no shortage of excitement to be had. While non of these features managed to pull a win out of the main event, we still found them unique or interesting enough to compile together and to bring to you for your viewing pleasure. This is a truck we haven’t seen in a LONG time! As soon as we laid eyes on it in the pits of Winter Meltdown at Houston Raceway Park, we walked straight over to check it out. The truck still has a massive single turbo setup but with more modern components than when we last saw.
