Purists beware, this T-Type hasn’t run a turbo six for years – at least since it spit out a lifter after a burnout gone wrong. But after getting a supercharged LS swapped into it, there was a whole lot more that was needed to be done to avoid that dreaded g-body shuffle. There was a dark time in the late 90s – between the 300zx and the 350z – where we lived a life with no new Z car. So what did Nissan do in the meantime? They didn’t just chill on the laurels of the last Z car. They got to pristinely restoring a small number of their legendary 240z with factory fresh parts. Only 37 of them.
