It's every Hoonigan's favorite part of a new project car: tearing into a perfectly good, working vehicle and cutting it to pieces with the boys! The clutch on our HPD IndyCar engine is only meant for a chassis that weighs around 1600lb, so our 4500lb Ridgeline needs to go on a serious diet if this project is going to go anywhere. Back to work on the Honda IndyTruck by Hoonigan! Suppy and the rest of Team 69 had a lot to do after gutting the Ridgeline last time. First, we had our buddy David come out to 3D scan the Ridgeline as well as a 2020 NSX that Ron borrowed. With that data, Alex was able to design and build a custom subframe while Angelo & Trevor got the roll cage mocked up and Jameson focused on engine mounts.
