It's been snowing consistently over the last few days bringing a few feet of snow to the mountain. We're snowboarding in Hintertux, Austria and the mountain got over fifty centimeters of snow in forty eight hours. We arrived at the top of the mountain with our snowboards to find deep snow and dark clouds. We struggled to find our way but the some came out in spots and we managed to snowboard in some of the deepest powder ever. Overall the day was a success and I think we made the right decision to fight through the storm. Our goals today was to be snowboarding in the terrain park, but the park opened late so we spent most of the day finding powder stashes around the mountain. This was definitely unexpected to be snowboarding powder in October and we managed to find lots of good spots. The park didn't eventually open late in the day and we got a few snowboard trick in as well.
