Blake Fuller and his team took a production Tesla Model S to the 2016 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb to set a new world record. In the end they shattered the previous Production Electric Vehicle record by over a minute, setting a new world record of 11:48. In this production class where modifications are limited, a set of Toyo Proxes R888s delivered the added grip and control needed for this record setting run. This is the mountain from Fuller’s point of view. World’s toughest hard enduro rally Red Bull Romaniacs 2022 was held for the 19th time this year, 26-30 July 2022, as the 5th round of FIM’s Hard Enduro World Championship. The Carpathian challenge was always a great show for the fans but in 2020 and 2021 we didn’t get the iconic City Prolouge due to global pandemic restrictions. The European hill climb sensation Impossible Climb Andler was held for the 21st time and the two-day dirt bike feast was a total Dirt Bike Destruction Derby for all. The racing weekend started with the free practice on Saturday, 15:30, where all classes were free to give it a go to the wall-like giant of Andler - Scönberg. At 20:30 the real show started with the first heat where all riders hit the hill for one time. Saturday ended with an absolute wonderful concert & party and we can’t thank enough to the organizers on behalf of all participants and spectators. Sunday started at 10:00 am with the remaining 3 heats for each class. After completing all 4 heats 10 best performance had their last chance for a final go at 15:30. The only matter is to reach highest point no matter how much time you spent. We have witnessed a miracle in which Roel Geurts (IG: roelgeurts87) made an epic run to the hill and finished all the way up without a single mistake. This was a historic moment for the race’s itself also. He became the first rider to finish on top of his bike. Impossible Climb Arette returned back with a massive Hill Climb show at the heart of Pyrenees in Southwestern France, 21 August 2022. The 38-year-old event, since 1984, challenges to the riders with its 230m climb with an elevation that varies from 70 to 82% at its steepest point. For all these years very few had the chance to see the top on their motorcycles and often, years past without no one being able to make it. We first filmed it in 2019 and in that edition, no one made it to the top. The event got cancelled both in 2020 and 2021 due to global pandemic. Challenging to a hill this steep requires creating the purest dirt predators with ideas that are look like out of since-fiction movies. More than 60 riders hit the hill for four times throughout the day and only one made it to the top, Yohan Peltier – KTM 1190. We tried our best to reduce the content we filmed by carefully picking only the best and we hope you enjoy it. More than 150 extreme hill climb enthusiast, including Pol Tarres with his T7, gathered up for one of the most iconic hard enduro race event, Rocket Ride of Erzbergrodeo 2022. Racing week of the FIM Hard Enduro World Championship’s Round 3 Erzbergrodeo started with Mitas Rocket Ride on Thursday, 16th of June. All competitors had the chance to hit two hot laps in order to be qualified for the finals. After the prologue session it was Chris Perry who qualified on top. He was followed by Sonny Goggia and Oskar Kaczmarczyk. We then jumped into the whole shot knock-out final sessions in the afternoon. After finishing the qualification with P22 and barely making it into quarter finals, Pol Tarres had a great run both in Quarter and Semi-Finals which let him lined up for the Super Final. In the end we were ready final go and it was Pol Tarres with his fat 2-cylinder T7 against lightweight enduro and motocross singles. Pol couldn’t hold a chance against them and finished last but still it was an epic journey to the finals. FIM World Hard Enduro Championship action resumed with Rd3 Red Bull Erzbergrodeo 2022 and we witnessed one of the most extreme Hare Scramble ever, if not the most. After being cancelled for two consecutive years, in 2020 & 2021, due to global pandemic it was wonderful to see all fans and riders showed up for a great racing experience. Hare Scramble, Main Race, took start at 14:30 CEST and 50 pax whole shot lines broke in towards the Iron Giant. KTM’s Manuel Lettenbichler took a perfect start and kept himself in the leading group of the first whole-shot till the hills and that helped him avoiding early traffic jams into the race. The young German then rode a great pace and brought the victory home for the team. The one and only struggle point was the CP22 Motorex Highway but he managed to keep calm and pass through in the end. It was Mario Roman who came in P2. The Spaniard made some damage repair at the Overall Championship ladder especially after the P10 result in Serbia, Rd2 Xross Hard Enduro Rally. Trystan Hart’s Erzbergrodeo 2022 journey was the most exiting one among the podium contenders. Canadian got in and out of the leading group but the last major mistake he did before Carl’s Dinner almost wiped his possible podium expectations. Keeping it tight and focused Trystan made a huge job through Carl’s Dinner and came out 3rd. He also Became the first Canadian on Erzbergrodeo’s Podium The organization had a great job to put this wonderful event together and its our debt to thank them on behalf of every hard enduro fan out there. Worlds craziest cill climb challenge, French Championship, returned past weekend with Round 1 Impossible Climb Bernex. After two years of cancellation, due to global pandemic, we finally premiered French Hill Climb Championship 2022 season with Round 1 Bernex. Located in the French Alps, the beautiful town was a show on its own with breathtaking scenery. 60 riders from both France and Switzerland lined up to give it a go to the 200 meters climb, through which they had to cover 90 meters of altitude. Each rider had 4 chances to set the highest point in the shortest time. The best time, 22s06, was set by Julien PERRIN who was followed by Julien SAPORITI with 22s44. Sylvain GEHIN was the one to climb to the top in the first run, in 22s74, completed the podium, but being injured at the finish, he cannot defend his chances for the final victory. For the women class; another victory for Laura PASCOLINI, after her successes in 2016 and 2019, with 170 meters. This put her in 23rd position in the general classification. Hard Enduro riders and fans from all around the world gathered for an epic season opener at the iconic French 24MX Alestrem Hard Enduro and team Sherco Factory drew the spotlights with Mario Roman and Wade Young aboard. We also had top privateers such as Alfredo Gomes and Sonny Goggia as well as French rising star Fabien Poirot. Racing weekend started with the single-track prologue. The set up and the terrain was at its perfect conditions and unlike 2020 we did not receive any rain beforehand. I took the new Busted Knuckle Films Rock Bouncer aka Knucklehead to one of my favorite trail ride events of the year, RBD! The event takes place every year at Hawk Pride Off Road Park in Tuscumbia, Alabama. It stands For Ricky B Day and is a Big Birthday Party for Ricky Berry of RCV Performance with a couple thousand of his closest friends. This was my first public event in my new Busted Knuckle Off Road Production Rock Bouncer and I didn't cut it any slack. We spent all weekend trail riding but the big show was Saturday. These events are usually difficult to video but this time I made a most on the social medias that everyone was going to hit the bounty hill on Saturday at noon. I was surprised when I came down the hill and saw all of the people lined up ready to watch the show. We moved from the Bounty Hill down to another hill I had been wanting to try and conquered it as well. They even made a new more difficult bounty hill. There is even some bonus footage of people hitting the Hawk Pride Boat Ramp including an V10 Ford Excursion.
