In this video we are taking a closer look at a new snowboard on Ride's lineup for 2018/2019, the Ride Twinpig. The Twinpig is an evolution of the Warpig which has been around for a couple of seasons now, and brings some of those unique characteristics into a true-twin frame. The most unique thing about this snowboard is that it is a volume shifted twin, that means that it is naturally much wider and can be ridden at smaller sizes. This is going to allow you to carve more aggressively while avoiding heel and toe drag, and is going to make this snowboard a natural choice for those of you with larger boot sizes. I am also a fan of the asymmetrical sidecut that you'll find on this guy. This snowboard works really well as a freestyle friendly, do-it-all style snowboard, and it also comes in at a very reasonable price. Let me know what you think about the Twinpig down in the comments, thanks for watching.</a>

In this video we are doing some summer snowboarding up at High Cascade Snowboard Camp and checking out the DC PBJ snowboard. The PBJ is a great snowboard for beginner to intermediate snowboarders looking for something that is going to perform well in most situations and still be easy to control, it is also a good choice for the rider looking to progress their freestyle riding. It features a true twin shape, soft flex, and positive camber profile offering solid freestyle performance. It is also going to be a really fun snowboard for playful riding outside of the terrain park, hitting side hits, working on butters, and generally riding with a freestyle feel. It's not the most stable snowboard and can be overpowered fairly easily with the momentum created on bigger jumps/gaps as well as riding with speed. Let me know what you think about the DC PBJ down in the comments! Thanks for watching.</a>

In this video we are checking out one of my favorite entry-level snowboards, the Arbor Formula. I am testing the Arbor Formula Camber, although this is the first year they are offering this board in both rocker and camber so you have the option to go rocker if you'd like. In this snowboard you're going to find a directional twin shape that rides and feels like a twin on hard packed snow, but will offer extra float in powder thanks to the extra length in the nose outside of the contact points. You'll also find a versatile mid flex with Arbor's Grip Tech sidecut, that is going to offer traction, stability, and solid performance in pretty much any conditions you find yourself in. To top it off this board comes in at an amazing price point, and is a great board to start off with if you are looking for something that is affordable, easy to control, and really is capable of doing it all. Let me know your thoughts on the Arbor Formula snowboard down in the comments! Thanks for watching.</a>

I was able to get a really good feel of the Ultrafear, riding it on a variety of terrain including ungroomed choppy slush, pond skims, and some really fun terrain parks! The Capita Ultrafear snowboard is a solid all around freestyle snowboard for both jibbing and jumping. You'll find a flat to rocker profile and a medium soft flex in this one, I think this combination provides you with a ride that is fun and capable for jibbing and butters while still offering decent stability for jumping and cruising outside of the park. It also comes out of the factory with a structured, sintered base. This is actually a pretty big deal in my opinion and creates a ride that glides extremely well on all snow surfaces, and is able to accelerate quickly. Overall I think the Ultrafear is a beginner friendly snowboard that is still going to offer the performance that experienced park riders want and need. Let me know what you think about the Ultrafear down in the comments below, thanks for watching.</a>

Today we're up at Mt Hood and snowboarding in the iconic snake run! The snake run is naturally formed banks that wind down the mountain. The challenge of snowboarding through the snake run is staying in control of your speed and turning your snowboard fast enough around each bank. The first tip is to control your speed by spraying snow out the side of each bank. The second tip is to quickly steer your snowboard through the banks by using your front knee and shoulder. The third tip is to use your knees to absorb the bumps and unevenness that comes with riding naturally formed banks. If you have any questions about snowboarding though the snake run, you can leave them in the comments. Thanks for watching!

In this 360 degree video we're snowboarding at the High Cascade snowboard camp on Mt Hood. We were lucky enough to get a clear and sunny day for the last day of snowboarding this summer. High Cascade does an amazing job of keeping their terrain park features in excellent condition all summer. The snow at Mt Hood also stays in great condition because of the elevation and massive snow falls through out the winter. This 360 snowboarding video was filmed with the Ricoh Theta S.

In this video we spend the day testing out the 2017 Rome Artifact at High Cascade Snowboard Camp in Mt. Hood Oregon. It was another hot day on the snowfield during session 2 of camp with bright sunny skies, granular slush, and a really fun terrain park at my disposal. I was able to take the Rome Artifact snowboard through a nice variety of terrain throughout the day and there were two things that really stood out to me about this snowboard: The amount of pop it is able to dish out, and the stability it can provide during landings and through carves (edge hold). If you have any questions about the Rome Artifact or snowboard reviews you'd like to see in the future you can leave them in the comments below, and make sure to check out http://www.boardarchive.com for even more content!

In this video I'll take you on a 360 degree video tour of the High Cascade snowboard camp at Mt Hood. This is an incredible place for summer snowboarding with open runs for freeriding and a terrain park with jumps, pipes and jibs. The terrain park has a great mix of features where you get creative at all snowboarding levels. My favorite freeride area at Mt Hood was the Snake run, where the banks of the run challenges your snowboarding. The best way to watch this 360° video is on your smart phone. Thanks for watching and have fun snowboarding!
