The Indonesian extreme enduro sensation, Uncle Hard Enduro 2022, was held on between 25-27 November in South Borneo and some of the world’s best riders, including Graham Jarvis, Mario Roman, Alfredo Gomez and Wade Young, were invited to have a go. The action started with the brief prologue session where all riders to ride as much as 4 laps and try to set the best time for the main action of Day 1. However, the prologue set up offered some real gnarly rock sections and log matrixes it was an easier task comparing the previous edition. This reminded us the Off-Road Time Trial track from Romaniacs 2020-21, only shorter and with a touch of super enduro at the start. Austrian Dieter Rudolf “aka Didi” was one of the internationals at the event and he tried to gave his best all along the racing week. This paid off at the prologue and Didi came out on top before the huge names that are competing in the event. Please enjoy his GoPro POV of the prologue performance. An exciting track was laid off for the challengers on Day 2 at the Sea to Sky 2022’s Forest race. The single track that laid through Taurus Mountains wasn’t an extreme one but being tricky is always the case. Travis Teasdale started the day with P8 in order and had some homework left from the hectic Beach Race on Day 1. He picked up his rhythm early in the stage and kept the pace till the end. At the end of the day, South African managed to come home with a massive P3 behind Graham Jarvis and fellow countryman Matt Green. Sea to Sky Hard Enduro 2022 kicked off with Day1's Beach race wıth a super tricky track laid ahead to tackle. Travis Teasdale was the winner of the morning qualification and the title defender from last years Beach Race. South African had a bitter sweet race with a bad start in the early minutes. He recovered all the way up to P2 before the end of second lap but it didn't work out for him after that. At the end Travis finished the day with P8 and left some recovery work for the following days! Extreme Enduro Supreme, Erzbergrodeo, returned back from two consecutive cancellations and it was the Round 4 of the FIM Hard Enduro World Championship’s 2022 Season. Racing weekend started with the Rocket Ride on Thursday and followed with prologue session on Friday and Saturday, where all competitors to take at least one Iron Road Heat and try to be in the fastest 500 in order to be qualified for Sunday’s Hare Scramble. Oskar Kaczmarczyk, POL, qualified 55th at the Iron Road Prologue and reserved his spot at the second row of the main race. Despite he got stuck at several places he managed to keep fighting to get the best result possible. In the end he completed the race at CP19 - Burping Stones with P50. Because he was not competing at the FIM championship we were able to hook him up with a helmet mount GoPro and therefore to produce the best POV Erzbergrodeo struggle for the fans. We thank Oskar for being our eyes on the track, the rare moments that he encountered Pol Tarres with his T7 is an extra joy. The Italian Extreme Enduro fewer continued with Rd3 Headless Rider Extreme Enduro in Teramo, 4-5 June, and the racing weekend kicked off with Prologue. The prologue format was to leave a one-hour window to get as much hot laps as riders wish to get for each classes. Sonny Goggia was the man to set the best time for Sunday’s main race within the one-hour window and here you can watch all his attempts through GoPro POV. It was Gas Gas Official’s Michael Walkner who set the 2nd fastest and Matthew Green 3rd. For the next and the last round of the Italian Extreme Enduro Championship we will go to Vigolzone, Piacenza, on 17-18 September. Kyle Flanagan lined up for a taste of Italian Extreme Enduro Championship at the Rd3 Headless Rider by Moto Club Falchilaga in Teramo and despite racing for the first time in two years, South African showed that he lost nothing at the talent department. In his post-race interview, he mentioned that it took a couple of laps to catch his pace and only after that it was smooth as silk till the end. South African returned back to the European soil for a brief holiday which would include good old hard enduro racing. As a part of Rigo Racing, he raced and finished Headless Rider Extreme 2022 P5 overall. He then will be racing Erzberg Rodeo before returning back to his homeland. Extreme XL Lagares returned after two years of absence and hard enduro magicians from all around the world lined up for a taste of Portuguese extreme, 6 - 8 May 2022. Francesc Moret Clota was kind enough to wear our GoPro during the main race and he captured as much as from the start till his battery died. Rieju Factory rider did great during the first two days but it was time to really show off what he has from his trials background. The Spanish man felt great and made a good start and even collected some positions early in the race. He did not have any technical problem with his ride but the pace wasn’t there for a podium appearance at the end. Francesc completed the race in 3h54m58s and claimed P6 behind Ni Esteves. We had an extreme season opener at the FIM’s World Hard Enduro Championship 2022 Season in Israel’s exotic Dead Sea region. Racing week started with the Urban Race prologue and it is followed with the Super Enduro action in the afternoon. Worlds best hard enduro riders took two hot laps in the Urban Race prologue and the fastest 30 qualified to the super enduro. After three semi-finals 12 riders took the whole shot for the super final. 2021 and 2022 FIM Super Enduro champion Billy Bolt was everyones favourite and he brought the P1 home. Wildwoods Extreme Enduro’s main race is known to be a tough one but the heavy rain made it even tougher. Italian Extreme Enduro Rd 1, Wildwoods Extreme Enduro, held in Genova with international talents lined up for the trophy. Gold Class main race took start at 15:00 local and lasted for the following 2h. National Hard Enduro hero Sonny Goccia was one of the favorites and made Italian fans cheer everytime he passes. He battled his way with Dominik Olszowy and came out as the leader of the race for a long time but later on he made mistakes which caused him the victory.
