Hard Enduro Arsenal 2021 was set to witness a great competition but it turned out to be a huge organizational failure with the wrong navigational guidance of the front runners at the check point 3. The front runners including Alfredo Gomez, Teodor Kabakchiev and Sonny Goggia took a wrong turn after CP3 – one of the race staff gave them wrong guidance - and went directly to the finish line without passing through CP4 and CP5. As a result, they received penalties which vanished the podium expectation for the edition. David Cyprian found himself on the top of the overall podium in the end. Some of the most talented hard/extreme enduro riders including Alfredo Gomez, Teodor Kabakchiev, Sonny Goggia, Josza Norbert-Levente and Dieter Rudolf showed up at the Hard Enduro Arsenal 2021 on the 23rd of April. Hard Enduro Arsenal is a fairly small eastern European hard enduro race happening in the beautiful Romanian town of Costeşti, 100km west of Bucharest. Race Weekend Day 1 – Prologue – 15KM Day 2 – Hard Enduro – 85KM Day 3 – Hard Enduro – 45KM The 3-day race weekend started on Friday with a fast prologue of 15km. Jarvis Racing Team rider Teodor Kabakchiev competed at the Hard Enduro Arsenal 2021. Hard Enduro Arsenal is a fairly small eastern European hard enduro race happening in the beautiful Romanian town of Costeşti, 100km west of Bucharest. Teodor started to the race weekend with a P5 at the 15KM prologue on Friday and did even better on the next day at the 85KM hard enduro section which rised his podium expectations. 3rd and the last day riders were to ride a harder but shorter, 45KM, section but the day witnessed a chaotic navigation fail for the front runners including Alfredo Gomez and Sonny Goggia along with Teodor. The group guided to go strait ahead when they had to take a right turn after CP3 and went directly to the finish line without passing through CP4 and CP5. It was seen in the video that one of the race staff guided the group to the wrong way after CP3 and because they started seeing markers they kept riding. The wrong route was also headed to the exact same finish line but without passing through CP 4 and 5. As a result they received penalties which vanished the podium expectation for the year.
