This was a once in a lifetime catch! The day started slow and ended with a bang! ↓↓more info↓↓ This was a fluke catch where I had a small Dolphin fish hooked up to my skirted lure and this big bull came charging through and head-butted the line. The line was then sliced through his forehead and with tension from the small fish he was unable to swim free of the line. Wednesday Hump day was a great day to test out the new offshore boat so we headed out the 50-fathom mark off the Gold coast of Australia. ↓↓ More Info below ↓↓ Yellow Tail Kingfish was our target species, first, we prospected the drift line with heavy jigs in 85 m of water and then settled in for the lazy drift with butterflied baits.
