What has 3,000hp, weighs 4,000lbs, and run’s low 7’s without the boost cranked? Nope, it’s not Hector’s Civic Hatchback, but good guess! It’s the Juggernaut Viper, built by Nth Moto. This wild build features a 2001 Viper with a Gen 5 drivetrain, twin turbos, full 5 inch exhaust, and lots and lots of other goodies. With the looming constraints of time, the Texas Streets are often where new builds get debuted. Racers squeezing in last minute modifications (or in this case, an extra power adder!) just so they can lay claim to their section of the Texas Streets. This particular racer ran his time down to the wire, showing up with a fresh new setup on his Viper completed only hours beforehand. Laying down a cool 1067whp from a beautiful fifth generation Dodge Viper, this racer came prepared with a proper street car setup. A Gen 5 Viper with twin turbos!? Yes please! The guys over at Calvo Motorsports and Powerhouse racing have created a MONSTER of a V10 Dodge Viper! Running a Motec M150 ECU and sporting twin 3795 turbochargers, this Viper is a handful! On a good day, this setup will make 900hp - that’s 255 more horsepower than stock! To top it all of, the Dukes of Hazzard livery really caught our attention! Another perfect example of a street car doing what it does best.
