Freestyle snowboards come in a wide variety of flexes and profiles. Some boards will be better for jibbing, some will be better for jumping, and some are quite well rounded. In this video you'll find 5 recommendations that are sure to stoke you out regardless of your riding style. I've tested these boards personally in a variety of locations ranging from Colorado, Mt. Hood, New Zealand, and Australia. This video was filmed on the Stubai Glacier in Austria, I hope it gives you some good ideas as you are looking for a new park board this season. Let me know what your favorite park board is down in the comments below, thanks for watching!

I was able to test out the Horrorscope on a couple of occasions at Loveland Ski Resort and Arapahoe Basin here in Colorado. I rode more natural and freeride style terrain at Loveland and found that the Horrorscope did pretty well and could get around fine, but wasn't really comfortable at higher speeds. The heavier choppy snow was able to push the board around and flex the tips pretty easily. In the park the flat to rocker profile offered a comfortable feeling that locked into rail features well, and also provided a platform for easy presses. I also like the blunted tips, this allows you to ride a shorter snowboard for better maneuverability and still have the control and stability of a slightly larger board. Overall I think the Horrorscope can be a fun snowboard for any rider from a beginner to more advanced riders. It will be easy to control and maneuver and is also a fun and capable freestyle snowboard. Let me know what you guys think about the Horrorscope in the comments, thanks for watching.

Today we're doing a snowboard grab session up in the High Cascade Snowboard Camp. Each of us attempted a different double snowboard grab. I went for the Rocket Air grab where you grab both hands to the nose of your snowboard. TJ went of the double tail grab and he tweaked it out with some style. Garrett got the Stiffy Grab where your grab both hands on your toe edge between the bindings and straighten your legs. Get creative with your snowboard grab tricks and let us know which is your favoite!

Today we're snowboarding at the High Cascade Snowboard Camp and in this video I have three tips to help you avoid common jump mistakes. The mistake that I see beginner snowboarders make the most is turning their snowboard sideways in the air and landing on their heels and butt. The first tips to avoid this problem is to keep you back hand over your tail. This will keep you body square to your snowboard and keep it going straight over the jump. The second tip is to make sure you're looking over your shoulder. It's tempting to turn forward to see ahead of you, but this can cause your snowboard to turn sideways on the jump. The final tip is to point your snowboard straight and flat toward the lip of the jump, so your momentum carries you straight toward the landing. If your have any questions about hitting your first snowboard jump it would be great to hear it in the comments! For more tips check out the snowboard trick playlist. Thanks for watching!

In this video I'm going to show you the five steps to learning how to backside 180 on your snowboard. These five steps will help you progress with the backside 180 safely on your snowboard. The backside 180 is a fun trick that you can practice on the run, off side hits and in the terrain park. The first step is to practice with your snowboard in a static position on the snow. Here you can master the basics that get the backside 180 around. Next you can practice the backside 180 as you snowboard across the run. This will help you practice while your snowboard is moving. The third step is to practice on side banks, where pressure builds on your snowboard, helping you to pop in to the air. The fourth step is to practice 180 on rollers and natural lips where you can get used to the trick while your snowboard is going downhill. Finally once you have the confidence you can take the backside 180 in the park on a small jump. Build you confidence with any snowboard trick by putting lots of mileage into practicing the steps. Thanks for watching and check out the snowboard trick playlist for more tips!
