A hot rod customer of Mike Herman’s at H&H Flatheads in La Crescenta, CA, came in looking for an engine build. The customer had heads and an intake, but gave Herman free reign to do what he wanted from there. Mike built up a rare Dixon motor to add unique flare to the customer's sleeper hot rod. Hey everyone. Sorry it's been a while since uploading anything. We have a deadline to get the house build finished (eta February 2021) so there has been no time for fishing unfortunately. I'm mega stoked with this catch though, 70cm of Dusky Flathead in the Gold Coast estuary system on a Zman midnight oil curl tail soft plastic. Northern NSW is only a short drive down the motorway from where I live and so it would be silly not to explore these beautiful waters ways. Although it could take a bit to get to know how and when to fish the estuary it's all experience. I will have to come back someday soon and catch the ones that got away.
