Today we travelled 20 miles offshore of the Florida Everglades / aka MIDDLE OF NO WHERE to fish for HUGE Cobia! Fishing with Tight Line Fishin Charters, Captain Scout Morris is the 8th generation fishing these waters, and we had an awesome day! Huge wrecks were stock full of HUGE fish but also were home to some pretty massive sharks & Goliath Grouper. NOT a good time to fall in the water! Make sure to catch the part of the video where a Goliath grouper had me stuck in a hole, came out & as I was fighting him, the line snapped and I almost went in! We head offshore to drift with some live bait as well as do some vertical jigging for tuna and kingfish! We catch lots of blackfin tuna, as well as bonita, and an almaco jack! I meet you back at the dock to show you how to fillet a blackfin tuna, and then in the kitchen to tip up an incredible meal! Viktor and I made tuna poke, seared tuna, coconut crusted mahi and almaco jack, as well as some coconut cream rice!
