A closed down city street turned into drag strip for some of the WILDEST big tire cars in the midwest! Native midwestern racers and even some of Discovery Channels Street Outlaws made the drive to Hartshorne, Oklahoma for the H-Town Throwdown. A totally LEGAL street racing event, on a totally un-prepped, bare city street. Big tire cars mean SERIOUS power, but big power means a bigger fight for traction. Oddly enough we caught our buddy Ryan smack dab in the middle of the big tire class working through rounds with only small tires? We made it to SCT Charlotte for a third time, but this time around we got to do something we have always wanted to do! (Legally anyways lol) We experienced 4 lane wide racing! Two cars racing is intense enough, but when you throw two more in the mix side by side the adrenaline really gets flowing! This pass was a complete bummer all the way around. Mike Brown in the Turbo Firebird -vs- Heath Littrell in the ProCharged Hemi Nova. The Firebird gets loose just past the finish and impacts the wall HARD sending the car into the path of the Nova which had no where else to go and ended up into the wall. Mike left with some injuries but is in good spirits and doing well. Big bummer for the Nova was it was just revamped and it was one of the first passes on the car.
