World of hard enduro lost one of its iconic challenges, UK’s The Tough One, as it was organized for the last time where David Knight represented the past and Billy Bolt the future. The dirt bike heroes from all over the country showed up for a taste of mud and Tough One made sure that they had it properly. Nantmawr Quarry was not wet or snowy but still mud was inevitable as well as failing. The two-day event featured different challenges for different classes but the main event took place on Sunday afternoon, 28th of November 2021. This is the editor cut of the fails. Red Bull Romaniacs 2020, the ultimate Hard Enduro Rallye, has come to an end and KTM Factory Racing rider Manuel Lettenbichler is our victor. Despite he started to the day sitting in the overall 2nd place he pushed hard especially between CP5 and CP6 and as a result he found himself on top of the podium for the second time in a row. On the other hand, Graham Jarvis lost some unfortunate seconds here and there but put a great challenge against the youngsters as he is 45 years old. World’s best Hard Enduro Riders lined up to give it a go for Sea to Sky 2020 on Day 1’s Beach Race. In a nightmare season due to corona outbreak we missed nearly all great events such as Erzberg Rodeo and in fact some entire championships. Bearing that in mind Sea to Sky was the only big event still happening. More than 170 riders throughout world showed up at Antalya, Turkey to enjoy this beautiful nature as much as possible. Day 1 started with Beach Race prologue where each rider to get 2 hot laps and try to score fastest time possible. After prologue 150 qualified riders took start 50 at a time and the fastest 50 was the last main show of the day. Husqvarna’s Billy Bolt took the lead right after the start and kept it till the end. Wade Young smashed Sea to Sky Hard Enduro Beach Race and claimed the victory. Race day started with prologue at which riders supposed to have two hot laps and get the best time possible. Right before the second run it started raining heavily which effected the lap times profoundly and we had a surprise winner at prologue, Rene Jerbach (EST). The weather was perfect in the afternoon. The fastest 150 at the Prologue was qualified to Beach Race and they took start in three groups (50 Pax). Jonathan Richardson took the early lead with a fantastic start and kept the podium fight for a while. He then lost positions and finished the race with P4. It was all about Wade Young, he seemed really strong and comfortable on the bike which paid off with a clear victory over the day. Mario Roman finished in P2 and David Cyprian in P3. Graham Jarvis had good race as well and got a good start position for the next day. He finished with P5.
