ISDE 2022 France moved to a new chapter on Day 3 with Enduro Test throughout the day and Team UK once again finished on top at the class World Trophy. With Enduro Test we moved to the hard and tricky bits of the racing week. Andrea Verona of Team Italy got his rhythm and became the fastest of the day before Josep Garcia. At the Women’s World and Junior World Trophy nothing has changed at the top of the ladder. Team US got the WWT and Team Italy JWT win for the third consecutive time. International Six Days of Enduro 2022 continued with Day 2 and we had a baunce back from Team United Kingdom. For the personal best performance it was again Spain's Josep Garcia who set the best time for the day. Throughout the 5 specials, Team UK was on a roll and got the Day's lead with a clear 1m24s. At the Women's World Trophy Team US continued their lead by winning the day again on day two. At the Junior Class Team Italy is on a roll and made their statement over the edition by showing off muscle repeatedly. The International Six Days of Enduro 2022 kicked off today at the heart of Pyrenees, France, for the 69th edition. It was the day of Cross Test and Team Spain set the pace for the World Trophy class. With Josep Garcia in lead the team put a lightning pace against them all and won the day by clearing more than 22 seconds. At the World Women's Trophy Team US picked from where they left last year and claimed the day's victory. Team Italy of the Junior Class was on a roll as they rode the day through specials and came in with a smile on their face. We are cruising into the Enduro Test on Day 2. Kyle Flanagan lined up for a taste of Italian Extreme Enduro Championship at the Rd3 Headless Rider by Moto Club Falchilaga in Teramo and despite racing for the first time in two years, South African showed that he lost nothing at the talent department. In his post-race interview, he mentioned that it took a couple of laps to catch his pace and only after that it was smooth as silk till the end. South African returned back to the European soil for a brief holiday which would include good old hard enduro racing. As a part of Rigo Racing, he raced and finished Headless Rider Extreme 2022 P5 overall. He then will be racing Erzberg Rodeo before returning back to his homeland. One of the oldest classic enduro challenge Trefle Lozerien AMV’s racing weekend took off Today with 5 spectacular specials in and around Mende, France, for the 36th time. Being super dry and dusty we put behind a real challenge with a bit of drama in it. Sherco’s Theo Espinasse had an unfortunate crash at a liaison, caused by a hidden stump, and broke his shoulder. Josep Garcia was on another level today and showed some muscle. Spaniard’s strong pace gave him the Day 1’s victory. He was followed by Gas Gas’s Andrea Verona, P2 and Till de Clerq, P3. FIM World Hard Enduro Championship 2022 season kicked off with Minus 400 Desert Extreme Race in Israel. Race gets its name from the exotic Dead Sea region which is the lowest point on earth, 430.5m below sea level. After two days of qualification from Day 1’s Urban Race and Day 2’s Desert Prologue it was the day of main race - Minus 400 - on Thursday, 7th April. Final stretch was a 75KM single track from the city of Arad to the Dead Sea which was gradually designed to get tougher to the finish line. The pack hit the track at 08:00 in the morning in search of the best result that they can achieve. Desert Prologue winner Wade Young was the early leader of the race and reached to the CP1 first. South African kept his pace balanced with the leading group till CP8 but then he lost it. It was Mario Roman’s turn and he brought it home for the team. Spaniard fought for the lead with Billy Bolt and Wade Young till CP8 but then made his impact and took the lead till the chequered flag. Mario Roman got a stunning victory under these harsh conditions and made a dream start to the season. After passing CP8 Billy Bolt couldn’t find anything to fuel himself for a final move and from then on it was the struggle of hanging in the position for the Brit. After all he was happy finishing P2 under these tough conditions.
