World’s finest hard enduro riders showed up at Red Bull Romaniacs 2020 to compete the ultimate Hard Enduro Rallye of all time. Romaniacs was the only race that has happened in the cancelled WESS 2020 calendar and it went through some changes with the regular race format. Biggest changes were the dates and the cancellation of city prologue. The organisation implemented an Off-road Time Trial as a replacement of the inner-city prologue and the race week started with it on Tuesday the 27th of October. The weather was pretty nice and the ground wasn’t muddy to challenge riders through the course. Wade Young finished the day on top by completing the track with 38m51s. Red Bull Romaniacs 2020, the ultimate Hard Enduro Rallye, has come to an end and KTM Factory Racing rider Manuel Lettenbichler is our victor. Despite he started to the day sitting in the overall 2nd place he pushed hard especially between CP5 and CP6 and as a result he found himself on top of the podium for the second time in a row. On the other hand, Graham Jarvis lost some unfortunate seconds here and there but put a great challenge against the youngsters as he is 45 years old. Red Bull Romaniacs 2020 Offroad Day 2 is now behind us and last year's winner Manuel Lettenbichler finished on top. He finished in 4h20m43s and got the overall lead as well. Wade Young was the one who got P2 for the day with 1m34s behind Manuel Lettenbichler. Finally, we came to Day 4 for the Sea to Sky 2020 Hard Enduro Race and all 159 riders were set to have the mass start for the big trophy. Sea to Sky 2020 The Mountain Race format was to take start at the beach and ride all the way up for 55 kilometres to Mount Olympus (2365 meters of altitude). It was Wade Young got reached to the CP1 first but top 5 were so close to each other till CP8. When Mario Roman reached to CP8 first the top 4 were within only 3 seconds. Between CP8 and CP9 Mario Roman and Billy Bolt took a wrong line which hurt these two dearly. In the end of the day it was Graham Jarvis to win the big trophy. Wade Young came in P2 and Billy Bolt P3. With this win Graham Jarvis won Sea to Sky for the 6th time at the age 45. After 2 days of intense racing it was Day 3 for Sea to Sky Hard Enduro Race. A 32 km track laid upon 2000 meters of altitude for the first time in Sea to Sky Hard Enduro history and it is called Sky Race. The track was mainly designed to be a softer trail for everyone to enjoy the beautiful scenery but because it was softer it took only 54 minutes for Billy Bolt to finish it with P1. World’s best Hard Enduro Riders lined up to give it a go for Sea to Sky 2020 on Day 1’s Beach Race. In a nightmare season due to corona outbreak we missed nearly all great events such as Erzberg Rodeo and in fact some entire championships. Bearing that in mind Sea to Sky was the only big event still happening. More than 170 riders throughout world showed up at Antalya, Turkey to enjoy this beautiful nature as much as possible. Day 1 started with Beach Race prologue where each rider to get 2 hot laps and try to score fastest time possible. After prologue 150 qualified riders took start 50 at a time and the fastest 50 was the last main show of the day. Husqvarna’s Billy Bolt took the lead right after the start and kept it till the end. The over night rain cleared the dust without making it too muddy and the scene were set for good at Day 2 of Enduro GP France Réquista. Steve Holcombe led the top 3 just as Day 1 and in the end, he claimed the Enduro GP France Day 2 victory of the season. Brad Freeman and Andrea Verona pushed their limits and closed the gap but none of them was able to clinch the top position out of Steve’s hands. Brad came in P2 and Andrea P3. After a long delay to the season start, first round of Enduro GP 2020 held on France - Réquista. Enduro GP World Champion Brad Freeman started to the race as a Beta Factory Rider with his team mate Steve Holcombo. The race was soo dusty in the first day.
