Featuring a massive kicker with a huge roller landing, riders were hucking some of the BIGGEST airs ever seen in the sport. 4500 Zuschauer pilgerten am 22. Juni nach Hamm in Deutschland, um bei Red Bull Rising High 2014 einige der weltbesten Wakeboarder live zu erleben. Im Finale setzte sich Dominik Gührs gegen die Konkurrenz durch. Extra für den Event war in den letzten Monaten mit Hilfe von UNIT Parktech ein neues Gap-Setup entstanden. Dieses besteht aus einem Pool mit zwei massiven Kickern und einer Roller-Landung im 2,50 Meter tiefer gelegenen See. Gezogen wurden die Fahrer von zwei zwölf Meter hohen Sesitec System 2.0 Zweimast-Liften, die dafür sorgten, dass die Rider dank bis zu acht Meter hohen und 20 Meter weiten Jumps eine Airtime erlebten, wie sie im Wakeboarding bis jetzt noch nicht möglich gewesen ist! _ Experience the world of Red Bull like you have never seen it before. Click CC for Subtitles! 15,000 wakeboard fans at Magellan-Terrassen in Hamburg witnessed the victory of Raph Derome (CAN) on the UNIT Parktech Wakeboardroller. Nico von Lerchenfeld (GER) won the "Swatch Best Style Award" via live voting. 16 of the world's best wakeboarders put on a stunning event for the audience and performed some massive and stylish action. All the athletes enjoyed their visit in Hamburg staying on their own private sailing yacht and had almost a week time to get their riding ready for Red Bull Rising High. Besides some serious training, the crew still had enough time to undertake plenty of leisure activities and get to know the world famous Hamburg Kiez. The event itself was coined by an extremely high trick level with highlights like e.g. the 1080 by Raph Derome and a double halfcab roll by Brenton Priestly.
