It was such a blast to watch this smokey little c10 truck improve day by day at Drag Week, equipped with a P pump 24V Cummins! Seeing a driver get to know his new set-up for the first time is always fun to witness, ESPECIALLY when they keep finding ways to go faster! Hopefully we’ll see some solid single-digit passes next year! He discovered at the end of the trip that his new, smaller turbo was actually the correct size but the wrong part number of the two, he received a turbo that spins the OPPOSITE way than it was supposed to, so it was actually stealing boost from the larger turbo. We can't wait to see it in the future, and quite a bit quicker!!! When you see anything with three turbos bolted to one engine, you have to start wondering. When you find out that the Tri-turbo setup is pushing a full size diesel pickup into consistently low 9’s, you find the owner and start asking questions. 140 PSI of boost is insane, as is the amount of work put into this truck! She ain’t pretty, she aint’ fast, but damn, this is one unique “MUTT SWAP” and we love it!  Check out the car we’re coining “CumStang Junior” due to it being so much slower than a couple other diesel powered Mustangs we’ve seen out there.  This car was all custom, home built by the owner out of his shop - Wholesale Dealer Services out of Missouri.  The car is planned to be a lot faster with a compound turbo setup, but for now it’s all stock and pretty damn slow, however it can still beat a stock mustang and some of it’s bigger brother 6-cylinder diesel pickups! ]]> Thu 22 Jan 2015 00:23:50 +0200 https://www.gnarpowpow.com/videos/11202/cumstang-jr-4bt-diesel-mustang/
