We've officially made it through Day 4 of Hot Rod Drag Week 2021 and we're thrilled to see so many racers have too. Drag Week wouldn't be complete without some gnarly burnouts on the road, and boy did the racers come through today! 1st place goes to the Diesel C10 pickup that laid down THREE insane rolling burnouts, pushing it's Cooper mud tires up to 240mph (wheel speed) and holding it for OVER a 1/4 mile! RaceWeek 2.0 is underway and it is STACKED with racers! Over 290 cars made it to Day 1 in Tulsa, Oklahoma and it will be interesting to see how many are left after the 1300 mile trip that’s spread out over the next 5 days. The Street Car SUPER-BOWL is LIVE and kicking off with the intensity you’d expect from TX2K! Celebrating the 20th anniversary of the event, TX2K19 Day 1 was JAM packed with Roll Racing testing and qualifying. While we still ran into the typical TX2K rain-showers, the event still pushed ahead with the full support of the racers after a short few hour rain delay. The weather passed, the track went hot, and racers took full advantage of Houston Raceway Park’s drag strip coated with STICKY prep from the legendary Jason Miller! Even with some of the stickiest prep in the world, there will still a few CRAZY moments through the day that couldn’t be avoided.
