There was a dark time in the late 90s – between the 300zx and the 350z – where we lived a life with no new Z car. So what did Nissan do in the meantime? They didn’t just chill on the laurels of the last Z car. They got to pristinely restoring a small number of their legendary 240z with factory fresh parts. Only 37 of them. And of course, Z daddy Randy Jaffe has one in his collection. Even though at one point he owned 8 of them.
