We've seen Brett Lasala and his spotless Coyote Mustang racing for nearly half a decade now. At one point, he held the 6R80 6-speed 1/4 mile record, with a 7.71, but now has moved onto a Powerglide. What's really crazy about this car (to us) is how ridiculously clean the engine bay is. It looks like it belongs on a Sema showroom floor, but it only sees drag strips and the lifts at Real Street Performance. Props to Brett for putting together such a clean build, while managing low 7 (near 200mph) passes at the same time. We need more street cars like this one! Finding good matchups on the street can be a difficult task when racers undersell the power under their hoods. This makes it all the more worthwhile when you line up next to a car and hang door to door with one another! This GTR went up against this Mustang for nothing but fun, and the outcome was one of the BEST races we saw all night long. Starting the night young around midnight, this meet up spot turned out to be a gold mine for us catching rides on the Texas Streets! Staying out till 5am, we managed to hop into all kinds of badass cars, including a RWD turbo V6 Integra and a VR4 Galant. We made it to SCT Charlotte for a third time, but this time around we got to do something we have always wanted to do! (Legally anyways lol) We experienced 4 lane wide racing! Two cars racing is intense enough, but when you throw two more in the mix side by side the adrenaline really gets flowing!
