Typically, we kick off an X Games event with a good old fashioned press conference. Athletes come together on site, discuss their annual highlights and give an inside look into what to expect from the events to come. This year, with no fans and media allowed on site due to COVID-19 restrictions, we went back to the drawing board and created a virtual press conference, featuring host Jack Mitrani, X Games Vice President Tim Reed, Snowboard SuperPipe gold medalists Scotty James and Chloe, Snowboard Big Air sensation Anna Gasser and Ski SuperPipe gold medalist Alex Ferreira. No awkward silences while athletes debate answers -- just all X Games goodness.
