Vintage sports car specialist James MacMath has a particular passion for Marcos Engineering, a low-volume British car manufacturer founded in the late 50s. They started out building race cars for 750 Motor Club events, claiming victories in the capable hands of Jackie Stewart, Derek Bell, and Jackie Oliver to name a few. A 1,874bhp and 1,696lb ft monster capable of zero to 60mph in sub 2 seconds, 0-186mph in less than 12 seconds, a top speed of 217mph and if you can find a 180kw DC charger, you can top up from 0-80 per cent in 40 minutes.
