I've been riding this snowboard in the Zermatt Snowpark for the past two weeks. The highlights that stand out to me about the Capita Outsiders if the stiffness, camber profile and fast base. The bindings I've paired with this snowboard are the Union Atlas and the boots are the Adidas Sambas. I'd recommend this snowboard to a rider who want to go fast in the terrain park, hitting larger jumps and rails. We had some fun spring conditions to feel this board out on with plenty of laps through Park Lane. I found this board to be at home in the park and just generally a good board for riding with a freestyle mindset. It's flex is softer than I anticipated it would be and it does have some rocker in the tips, it's a very buttery and pressable snowboard. The profile is camber dominant with camber running between the feet going out 5cm past the insert packs; this gives the board a some nice response and a genuine camber feel despite having rocker in the tips. All in all this is a fun board that isn't too aggressive, I think anyone from beginner to advanced can enjoy it. I know many of you may be looking to purchase the latest gear so I want to let you know that everything said in this video and in the written review is true for both the 2016 and 2017 models. In this snowboard review we are testing out the Capita Ultrafear on a crisp spring day at Keystone resort, Colorado. We spent a lot of the day riding Keystones A51 and I-70 terrain parks testing the board out on jumps and rails, but we also got a few full laps in to see how this board does with a bit more speed and varying terrain. The highlight for me on this board is how comfortable and maneuverable it feels on rails. Capita did a great job combining a flat to rocker profile, mid flex, and an alloy pop rod to create a jib board that is tough, flexible, poppy, and a lot of fun.
