FIRST START! How do we make our Halo Warthog FAST and INDESTRUCTABLE all at once? First we got a 1,000+ horsepower capable fully built Ford Windsor 438ci V8 engine, added Garrett Motion twin turbos (ALL THE BOOST) to it and strapped a bullet proof Gearstar Supermatic80 Transmission with a massive pro billet torque converter along with an Atlas 2-speed transfer case. All the necessary things to make all the power and to make it strong enough to handle our gaggle of scumbags. Now that Redline Performance has built our Ford V8, Suppy and the gang got right to work and started installing and fabricating all the goodies to get our Halo Warthog started and running, enjoy! Car nerds and video game nerds unite! We teamed up with Microsoft and Halo to build a real deal Warthog (M12-FAV) from the all-new Halo Infinite but of course we added our own spice to it… We took a Ford V8 like the one in the Hoonicorn, added two turbos to it and made a little over 1,000hp! But this isn’t a car show pony, it actually RIPS. With fully functional off-road racing suspension, active 4-wheel steering our Halo Warthog is a fully capable off-road race truck that can jump, crawl and do everything you expect from an Ultra4 racing vehicle that you’d find at King of the Hammers. With the looming constraints of time, the Texas Streets are often where new builds get debuted. Racers squeezing in last minute modifications (or in this case, an extra power adder!) just so they can lay claim to their section of the Texas Streets. This particular racer ran his time down to the wire, showing up with a fresh new setup on his Viper completed only hours beforehand. Laying down a cool 1067whp from a beautiful fifth generation Dodge Viper, this racer came prepared with a proper street car setup. Manageable, yet affordable power from a procharger, mated to Vipers 8.4 liter 10-cylinder engine delivering bold power smoothly across the board. After loading up on some fresh parts, revised tune, and a good dyno session, this badass stick shift E46 BMW pulled off the trailer in the RACE1000 pits to lay down some POWER! Freshly paired with a new turbo and some new supporting accessories, this Donkey Tec tuned Turbo E46 showed up to take full advantage what of the RACE1000 1/2 Mile has to offer. Pairing nearly 1000hp with RWD in Europe is a tough combination when the tracks aren’t prepped and the streets are slick (granted they DO have the Autobahn), but this BMW wasn’t scared of the challenge as it made pull after pull while shooting for that 300km club mark!
