Well ~400 full-throttle passes later and we finally have our first broken part..I'm surprised it didn't happen sooner! This car took some SERIOUS abuse over the 5 week period I had it back from AMS Performance. I made dozens of street launches, half mile runs, 1/4 mile passes (on Jason Miller Prep..) and hundreds of full-throttle hits in-between. Rich Rebuilds and I bought a Chevrolet Spark EV at the Copart Salvage Auction totally sight unseen in Illinois. The Spark EV is one of the fastest Chevy EVs ever released. I had it shipped down and our plan is to convert our Domino's DXP Pizza Car to the electric car making it the best of both worlds. Micah surprised his girl friend Jordyn with a new puppy! Next we decide to take our new shifter kart out to the streets as promised but it was raining pretty hard. We really wanted to make a video out of it so we took it out anyways and its safe to say that was a mistake. Taking the shifter kart out in the rain ended up breaking it hahaha. It was really fun while it was running though. We were sliding and drifting around. Since it was so slick we thought it would maybe be cool to drift (slide) our personal cars around the parking lot as well. They all did pretty good but its safe to say Jakes mustang did the best. Unfortunately for Ken his focus RS did not like all the drift action it was getting as it ended up breaking his awd system. Lots of things to still iron out (power steering & clutch issues) and upgrade on the car and we have the whole weekend alone to do it..............maybe. Ever Since the 2JZ swap the power steering has not provided proper assist at low speeds, its time to fix it! Also the clutch the has not been happy lately and needs to be adjusted.......hopefully.
