The Perfect Golf Swing Takeaway Drill - Danny Maude helped a recent student hit their driver straight and gain 20 yards with a simple change to their golf takeaway. The purpose of a great backswing drill is to put you in a position at the top of the golf swing that makes it super easy to come down at strike the ball effortlessly. Danny's student was unable to hit driver straight because he took the takeaway inside and had to make compensations in the downswing. This cost him power and accuracy.
