Today we unbox and take a first look at the new Harbor Freight Predator 212cc Ghost ???? racing kart engine. This is a box stock style racing engine for an asphalt racing kart. The new Ghost has a 6000 rpm digital governor, heavy valve springs, top plate, and VM22 round slide carb. The engine will not come with an air filter, exhaust, gas tank out of the box. We put the engine on our trail master mini bike for a first test ride. I show how to properly install a 40 series cvt / torque converter rated for 8hp-18hp engines on a go-kart. Then we put the two engines onto the blueberry go kart and take them for top speeds, 0-30 mph, and timed track laps.
