In this beginner snowboard video I've got some tips to progress from beginner to intermediate snowboard turns. There a few key differences between beginner turns and intermediate that I'll highlight for you. The most important key is how you spray snowboard in beginner turns compared to how you spray snowboard in intermediate turns. With beginner snowboard turns you spray snow downhill, where in intermediate turns you spray snow more to the side. For more beginner snowboard videos check out the beginner snowboarding playlist. There are dozens of snowboard tutorials and tips to help you progress. Thanks for watching!</a>

In this beginner snowboard video I've got some tips to help you link your first turns together. Linking your first turns is one of the last things to learn as a beginner snowboarder. Before linking turns you first want to be able to complete singe heal and toe turns. The key to linking your beginner snowboard turns together is to allow your snowboard to run across the slope at the end of the turn. Once you let your snowboard to run across the slope you can then link into the next turn. For more beginner video for tips and tutorial check out the playlist at the end. Thanks for watching!</a>

In this video I've got five tips for doing intermediate sliding turns on your snowboard. Sliding turns are great for snowboarding on the runs, through narrow paths and in the terrain park. The key for sliding turns is to use the tail of your snowboard like a fishes tail. Sweeping your snowboard back and forth, using your edges to control your speed. Anticipate each turn with your front shoulder, which will allow you to turn quickly and prevent you from over steering your snowboard. Use your knees as you turn to absorb bumps and keep your snowboards edge in constant contact with the snow. The quick sliding turns are perfect in the terrain park because it allows you to keep a narrow approach up to a box or jump. If you have any question about turning on your snowboard you can leave the below. Thanks for watching!</a>

In this video we've got five tips to help you improve you snowboarding turns. These are the five best tips that I've used to help snowboarders improve their turns! Today I'm snowboarding on Blackcomb mountain and Chris is helping us with the tips. The first tip to improve you turns is to keep you back hand over the tail of your snowboard. This will keep you more balanced over your snowboard and also make your toe turn come around smoother. The second tip is to use your knees through bumpy and uneven terrain. By using your knees you'll keep your snowboard in contact with the snow and keep you more in control of your turns. The third tip is to spray snow evenly though out your turns. By spraying snow evenly you'll distribute the effort evenly over your toe and heel turns. The fourth tip is to practice your switch snowboard tuns. By practicing switch you'll challenge your balance, which will improve your normal snowboard turns when you switch back. Finally challenge yourself by turning on side banks. A sign of improving your riding is when you can confidently turn your snowboard on the side banks. If you have any questions about snowboard turns you can leave them in the comments. Thanks for watching!
