This will give you a solid beginner snowboard base to progress from. The first thing is to find out which is you front foot on your snowboard. Finding out which one is your front foot will only take a few moments and get you setup for snowboarding. The second tip is to strap up you front foot in a flat area. If you bindings straps don't fit take a few minutes to adjust them to the right size. Finally learn to skate around with one foot into your snowboard. These five tricks will build the snowboard skills you need to progress on to more tricks. The first beginner trick is the tail press. For the tail press the key is to move your hips over your snowboard. The second beginner trick is the nose press. To help you get into the nose press try to reach your front hand down in front of your snowboard. The next two snowboard tricks are the front and backside 180. The best tip for 180's is to get a good pop into the air off of your snowboards edge. The final trick is the butter spin. The toe turn is definitely the most difficult thing to master as a beginner. The toe turn can be scary because you turn your back to the bottom of the run.
