Fixing the Baja 1000 Mitsubishi Raider....again. We hit the Dunes for its first field testing day and may have sent the truck a little too hard. A new track is opening north of Spokane called Mill Pond Raceway and the Corolla Rally Car is finally getting some time in the dirt! We brought the Baja Raider too to double down on the fun. It was an amazing track day filled with Rally, Tough Truck Racing, Mudbogs and good people. The Corolla and Raider both did great despite a lack of traction and we can't wait to dial them in a bit more and do it again. We fix the damage to the front end and find some old repairs from the baja days that need to be addressed again. The Baja 1000 Mitsubishi Raider Hits The Dunes for its first field testing day after the rear end rebuild. This Mitsubishi Raider was the factory backed Mini Stock race truck that won the Baja 1000 in 2006 and took 3rd in 2007. After making its way to us and some unfortunate circumstances with the rear end..... its back together and ready to rock. The truck has been getting break in miles put on it but today we are ready to put it through some real testing!!! For this we are heading to the dunes in Moses Lake WA. We Destroyed The Mitsubishi Raider! If you caught the last video featuring this truck you got to see a bit of a walk around followed by us struggling to load it on a trailer. Well we were finally able to tear the truck down to determine the extent of the damage and fortunately were able it back on the road.
