We can’t tell you why this seems to happen to GTR’s trying to run their first 6, but a Timing System FAIL on what should have been your first 6 second pass is the ultimate heartbreak for a racer chasing their goals. It seems no track or event is safe from the failures of electronic systems even at Maryland International Raceway for one of the largest events of the year, Import vs Domestic’s: World Cup Finals! Watching George’s heart drop was difficult, but fortunately for George, he didn’t get where he is today by giving up.
