Today the rotary moves under its own power for the first time! This rotary go kart is powered by a 1975 Hercules W2000 motorcycle and is a complete monster for this small go kart frame! In order to get this thing moving under its own power, we needed to add brakes, throttle, clutch, fuel system, battery box, ignition system, and a chain tensioner. While it doesn't seem like much, it took us hours to get everything working properly and doing its job. With this, towards the end of the video we were able to start this engine for the first time on the shifter kart frame and we are more than excited to get to ripping this thing!
