What has 3,000hp, weighs 4,000lbs, and run’s low 7’s without the boost cranked? Nope, it’s not Hector’s Civic Hatchback, but good guess! It’s the Juggernaut Viper, built by Nth Moto. This wild build features a 2001 Viper with a Gen 5 drivetrain, twin turbos, full 5 inch exhaust, and lots and lots of other goodies. This gorgeous C5 Corvette has been around our local Drag Strip for years now. It looks the same as before on the outside, but it's a completely different car on the inside. Eric ditched the old 6.0L block and replaced it with a 427lsx, and added a MASSIVE crank driven Procharger. A 2-speed Powerglide has taken place of the 4l60 transmission, and a Holley Dominator has replaced the stock ECU. Though Eric wouldn't tell us exactly how much power the car is making..he did inform us that he nearly DOUBLED the horsepower! Which was immediately apparent, as he trapped 148mph in the EIGTH mile after a few passes down the drag strip. That's impressive! It was one heck of a sight to see a big turbo VR6 stuffed into the trunk of a Volkswagen GTI..but we REALLY lost our minds when we saw the SECOND turbo VR6 engine in the front! WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?! Come to find out - this ludicrous creation is a freaking BEAST of a car. You can expect to see it running 9 flat in the 1/4 mile on LOW boost..as well as 180+ in the 1/2 mile - also on low boost. It's just a matter of time until this thing gets cranked up, so we can REALLY see what she's capable of. When it comes to a one-of-a-kind build like this one, you HAVE to be cautious and patient, and thats exactly what the owner is doing.
