I found tons of gear at even my local NAPA and online. If you live somewhere where there aren't any overland or offroad shops nearby, maybe you can find the gear at your regular shops instead.

Obviously I would say try to buy local when you can but if you can't there always other options. This is just one part of a series of videos where I go to local shops and try to find budget offroad and overlanding gear.

I got to check out this really cool civilian version of a BAE (similar to the unimog) turned into an extremely capable tiny home! Really cool truck and a really cool company based out of Utah. This thing is sitting on 46 1/2 inch tires and has all of the off road modifications you'd want. Is it expensive? Yes, but if you're in the market for something at this price point it's a really cool buy!

Are they any good, or do the big brands just mark up the price because they can? I test the durability of these traction boards in a series of tests to see how they hold up. I will be making these my new boards and as we go into winter I'm sure I'll be using them a lot more!

I found tons of gear at even my local Walmart.
